Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Bell peppers, Tomatoes
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work at heights, in wet/damp area, hot area, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crop, deleaf, clipping,
- The candidates should be able to do greenhouse cleaning, grading
- The candidates should be able to do hand harvesting vegetables, lowering
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, suckering
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, tying
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
