Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Warehouse and Manufacturing and industrial plant

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in environments with odors, dusty conditions, and noisy environments, working in environments with odors, dust, and noise should be manageable for the candidates
  • The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, willing to handle repetitive tasks, and capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be physically capable of performing demanding tasks and lifting more than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize punctuality and timely attendance
  • The candidates should be dependable in completing assigned tasks and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should be reliable team players, fostering collaboration within the organization

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
  • The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products
  • The candidates should be able to sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
  • The candidates should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
  • The candidates should be able to perform other laboring and elemental activities
  • The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
