Salary: $15.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Kensington, PE
Shifts: Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in wet or damp conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments without discomfort
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while efficiently handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required by the job, demonstrating physical flexibility and endurance
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables and perform vegetable culling
- The candidates should be able to mix and prepare soils, plant bulbs and seeds, and pot and re-pot plants
- The candidates should be able to transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings and apply fertilizers as necessary
- The candidates should be able to report signs of insect or disease damage and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area after tasks are completed
