Salary: $16.50 hourly for 35 hours per week

Work setting: Produce department and Supermarket/grocery store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Bondable and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to walk as part of their job requirements
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong focus on client needs and satisfaction, possessing efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and be organized in their approach to tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in meeting job expectations and be team players, fostering collaboration within the workplace
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment, or delivery
- The candidates should be able to obtain articles for customers from the shelf or stockroom and direct customers to the location of articles sought
- The candidates should be able to unpack products received by the store, count, weigh, or sort items, and maintain computerized stock inventory
- The candidates should be able to record incoming stock, stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order
- The candidates should also be able to price items using a stamp or stickers according to the price list, operate a cash register, and perform order picking
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
