Work setting: Dairy department, Non-perishable goods, Supermarket/grocery store
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should uplift weight to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment, or delivery
- The candidates should be able to carry customers’ purchases to the parking lot and pack orders in customers’ vehicles
- The candidates should be able to direct customers to the location of articles sought
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves and display areas
- The candidates should be able to keep stock clean and in order
- The candidates should be able to price items using stamps or stickers according to a price list
- The candidates should be able to perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors
- The candidates should be able to process electronic transactions using computer equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
