Salary: $50% commission per sale 16 to 30 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Type of pets groomed: All breeds of dogs, Cats
Work setting: Pet grooming shop
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Credentials: Master Groomer certification, Pet Grooming Certificate, Pet first aid course
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do bathing/shampooing
- The candidates should be able to do anal glands treatment
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated
- The candidates should be able to do pet clipping and styling
- The candidates should be able to clean ear, teeth cleaning
- The candidates should be able to do nail clipping, show clipping, flea baths
