Salary: $23.00 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Sherwood Park, AB
Shifts: 07:00 to 15:30
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle, and Vehicle supplied by employer
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Specialization or experience: Green economy sector
Area of specialization: Lawn care, Grounds maintenance
Equipment and machinery experience: Small engine equipment
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to tolerate hot temperatures
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, capable of handling heavy loads as needed, and physically fit to meet demanding tasks
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity for intricate tasks and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, able to stand for extended periods, and comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on serving clients, show initiative in taking on additional tasks, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan and direct grounds maintenance, maintain work records and logs, and repair and maintain equipment
- The candidates should be able to resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
