Salary: $18.50 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, be flexible, and have good judgment
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, and take, cancel, or change room reservations
- The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities, services, points of interest in the area, and assist with currency exchange
- The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges, receive payments, balance cash, and complete related forms
- The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures
- The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, answer telephones, relay calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to contact customers for wakeup calls, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide excellent customer service
