Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively, capable of performing repetitive tasks efficiently, and able to handle heavy loads as part of their duties
- The candidates should be fit for physically demanding tasks that require stamina and endurance, and the candidates should be comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in fulfilling tasks and responsibilities and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances, show initiative in problem-solving and task execution, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities and exhibit reliability in completing assigned duties
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs, and advertise vacancies and balance the rent roll
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform minor repairs on appliances, and perform safety and security checks
- The candidates should be able to show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, supervise other workers, and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
