Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitor animal health and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be capable of cleaning crops, hand harvesting vegetables, and harvesting seedlings
- The candidates should be able to pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be proficient in cutting seeds, sorting and packing fruits and vegetables, and harvesting crops
- The candidates should be skilled in cleaning work areas, loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry
- The candidates should be adept at operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market
