Salary: $43.50 to $47.74 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Hope, BC
Shifts: Day, Night, Shift, Overtime and To be determined
Work setting: Various locations and willing to relocate
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 5 years or more
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Driver’s License (Class 3 or D), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be physically strong
- The candidate should be able for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be able to work overtime
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- The candidate should be able to perform repair work on heavy trucks
- The candidate should be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- The candidate should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation
- The candidate should be able to welding experience
- The candidate should be able to clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
