Work setting: Willing to relocate, relocation costs covered by employer, various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and able to work in confined spaces
- The candidates should be tolerant of dusty environments effectively
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including repetitive ones
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) effectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, exhibit reliability, and be team players effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, as well as mix, pour, and spread materials according to specifications
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under supervision, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a clean work area
- The candidates should be able to prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted as directed, file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired as instructed, and clean and maintain the workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
- The candidates should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints according to procedures proficiently
