Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Employer’s home, and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Target audience: Infant (3 months – 11 months), and Kindergarten age (4 – 5 years)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate excellent oral communication
- The candidates should exhibit good judgment and demonstrate reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and appointments, tend to their emotional well-being, and help them with homework
