Work setting: Room and board provided, staff accommodation available, staff accommodation provided, work in employer’s/client’s home, willing to relocate, employer’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and basic security clearance

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, as well as assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and provide personal care
  • The candidates should be able to administer medications and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking, and feed or assist in feeding
  • The candidates should be able to change non-sterile dressings and collect specimens, as well as launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, and shop for food and household supplies
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and cook
