Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualification such as Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate
Target audience: Elderly, Females
Cuisine specialties: East Indian
Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel
Weight handling: Between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be willing to work in bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking position for extended periods of time.
- The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, initiative, judgemental and focused on client.
- The candidate should have dependability, flexibility, reliability.
- The candidate should be organised and a good team player.
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication and excellent written communication skill.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate must be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- The candidate should plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, provide personal care, shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise patients’ exercise routines, accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
