Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and proficient in handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with tasks that involve sitting and able to stand for extended periods, proficient in walking
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and within the weight range of 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual in meeting commitments and focused on client needs
- The candidates should be dependable in handling responsibilities and equipped with efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be excellent in oral communication and flexible in their approach
- The candidates should be proactive, show initiative, and capable of exercising good judgment
- The candidates should be organized in their work and reliable in meeting commitments, demonstrating a team player mentality
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including the administration of medications and assistance with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, such as walking, change non-sterile dressings, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
