Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks that are inherent to the job
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients in water (e.g., pool)
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise (e.g., walking), and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, plan therapeutic diets and menus, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care and prepare and serve nutritious meals
