Salary: $15.25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Westmount, QC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, room and board provided, work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit punctuality and demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction
- The candidates should be dependable, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should display flexibility in their approach to tasks and take initiative in their responsibilities
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making and be organized in their work
- The candidates should be reliable in their performance and function well as team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medications and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
