Shifts: Day
Target audience: Males, persons with a disability, school age (6 – 12 years), and young adults
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Assistance with mobility
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required and basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual in their work and dedicated to client focus
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach, show initiative in their tasks, and exercise good judgment
- The candidates should be highly organized, reliable in meeting commitments, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medications and assist clients in water (i.e., pool)
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, and assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and prepare and serve nutritious meals
