Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Assistance with mobility
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required and adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and be comfortable sitting for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to walk as needed during work duties and proficient in weight handling, capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual in their attendance and commitments, demonstrate dependability in completing tasks and meeting obligations, and exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing situations or requirements
- The candidates should be organized in their work approach and time management, and demonstrate reliability in their performance and responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
