Type of crops: Bell peppers, cabbage, carrots, cauliflowers, cucumbers, garlic, ginger, greenhouse tomatoes, greenhouse vegetables, herbs, melons, onions, sweet corn, tomatoes, and zucchinis
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Ferns, perennials, fruit trees, seasonal plants, and vegetables
Equipment and machinery experience: Irrigation pumps and equipment
Own tools/equipment: Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work, and being comfortable with standing for extended periods as necessary for certain job functions
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required by the duties of the role, possess strong hand-eye coordination for tasks requiring manual dexterity and precision, and be able to handle weights of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) safely and effectively

- The candidates should prioritize client focus, ensuring that customer needs are understood and addressed promptly and effectively, and possess efficient interpersonal skills, enabling them to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently delivering high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively with others to achieve common goals and support the overall success of the team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crop areas and greenhouses, as well as clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to operate climate controls and apply fertilizers
- The candidates should be able to perform vegetable culling, plant bulbs and seeds, pot and re-pot plants, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
- The candidates should be able to report signs of insect or disease damage and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
