Norton’s Cove Studio & Café is a unique establishment that seamlessly combines art and culinary delights. Salary: $14.50 hourly / 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: 113-114 Main Street, Wesleyville, NL A0G 4R0
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined
Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by the employer, Restaurant, Coffee shop

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to advise on wine selection and serve wine, liaise between chefs and customers
  • The candidates should be able to inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas, address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to answer customers’ questions regarding menu items and preparation methods, assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers, provide general information on community services
  • The candidates should be able to receive customers’ reservations and assign tables
  • The candidates should be able to receive payments from customers
