Salary: $27.50 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Location: Brampton, ON
Shifts: Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours
Work setting: Radio or television arts
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should exhibit excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks and situations
- The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in their approach to work
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in meeting commitments
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to present their own material or material prepared by others
- The candidates should be able to select and introduce music, videos, and other entertainment material for broadcast and make commercial and public service announcements
- The candidates should be able to act as a host/hostess or master of ceremonies, introduce and interview guests, and conduct proceedings of shows or programs
- The candidates should be able to read news, sports, and weather for radio and television
- The candidates should be able to report on weather conditions using information provided by weather forecasting services
