Goldeye Centre is a renowned education center nestled amidst the stunning natural landscapes of Alberta. As a premier destination for learning and outdoor exploration, Goldeye Centre offers a diverse range of educational programs, workshops, and retreats tailored to students, educators, and professionals alike. Transportation information: Own vehicle and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural area, Remote location, Willing to relocate and Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking and able to work independently, demonstrating autonomy and self-motivation in their tasks, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently despite time constraints
  • The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and productivity to meet tight deadlines, and be prepared for repetitive tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy in their work
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads efficiently and safely, be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a physically demanding job, and demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work
  • The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required for job duties, be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday, and be willing and able to work overtime as needed to meet project demands
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as necessary for certain tasks, be capable of walking as needed during their work activities, and be able to lift weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed for certain tasks or assignments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and handle and report lost and found items
  • The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
  • The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
