Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Workplace, Hazardous, Materials, Information, System, (WHMIS), Certificate,
Occupational, Health, and, Safety, Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal, record, check, Reference, required, Drug, test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and possess the ability to work independently, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and handling repetitive tasks, able to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and proficiency in tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling, adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks, and able to stand for extended periods, and able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work habits and demonstrate dependability in meeting job responsibilities
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules
- The candidates should show initiative in problem-solving and decision-making, exercise good judgment in various work situations, and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should be reliable in their performance, be team players capable of collaborating effectively, and uphold honesty in all aspects of their work
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and make beds and change sheets
- The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock the linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle and report lost and found items
- The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and carry out housekeeping activities
