Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, room and board provided, private residence, and employer’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently, handle repetitive tasks, and demonstrate attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, and exercise good judgment
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and organization
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
