WestCana Services Inc. provides contract support services for a variety of health environments, businesses, schools and offices, all across the lower mainland. We are a BC based, locally owned and operated company established and incorporated in 1995. The range of support service that we provide include Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance and Reception. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as trades certificate or diplomas
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgmental, reliable, and organized
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, provide basic information on facilities
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
