Alpine Meadows Resort based in Clearwater, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Housekeeper. Alpine Meadows Resort is a picturesque retreat nestled in nature’s embrace, offering a tranquil escape for discerning travelers. Specializing in providing an immersive resort experience, the destination boasts comfortable accommodations, recreational amenities, and breathtaking views. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Po Box 428 3400 Dunn Lake Road Clearwater, BC V0E 1N0
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning, 08:00 to 15:00
Transportation information: Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Remote location, staff accommodation available and provided, willing to relocate, restaurant, and hotel, motel, resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle a demanding workload, capable of working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, familiar with repetitive tasks, and able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and demonstrate attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable, and exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and good judgment
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and collaborative team players who uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- The candidates should be able to perform housekeeping activities, including making beds, changing sheets, and dusting furniture
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to stock the linen closet, distribute clean towels and toiletries, provide basic information on facilities, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
