Parkland Village Inn provides a peaceful retreat for travelers exploring the natural wonders of the area. Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 30 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, rural area, hotel, motel, resort, and restaurant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, capable of working under pressure, and comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and have excellent attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, able to walk for extended periods, and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, reliable, and demonstrate honesty
- The candidates should be flexible, demonstrate initiative, and be team players
- The candidates should possess strong values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
