Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure well, meeting tight deadlines efficiently
- The candidates should be able to manage heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, paying attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, as well as sit, stand, and walk as needed, capable of standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and be dependable, possessing efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should excel in oral communication, demonstrate flexibility, and show initiative
- The candidates should be reliable team players, excel in written communication, and adhere to values and ethics
- The candidates should also be outgoing
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators
- The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers and address customers’ complaints or concerns
