Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have values and ethics, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets
- The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items
- The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls and ceilings, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens
