Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate and prioritize client focus
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and excel in oral communication
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, demonstrate sound judgment, and be organized and reliable team players
  • The candidates should be adaptable and have the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify current and prospective staffing requirements and prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • The candidates should also be able to collect and screen applicants, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • The candidates should notify applicants of results of the selection process, prepare job offers, and recruit and hire staff
  • The candidates should advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • The candidates should negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, coordinate the termination of the employment process, and provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling, and recognition programs
