Salary: $35.00 to $39.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, 07:30 to 16:00
Work Setting: Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul
Work site environment: Noisy
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: The candidate should have Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience: The candidate should have at least 5 years or more experience in a related industry.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification.
Equipment and machinery experience: Fans and blowers, Gas plant and shop compressors, High speed packaging equipment, Lathes and other machining tools, Pneumatic system, Press brakes and metalworking equipment, Pumps and compressors

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a standing position for extended periods and pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should be required to work Overtime.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be a good team player.


  • The candidate should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
  • The candidate should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • The candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
