Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems
- The candidates should be able to consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions and provide advice and training to users
- The candidates should be able to collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts and participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- The candidates should be able to supervise other technical support workers, provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users, and set up equipment for employee use
- The candidates should be able to operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality and collect and document user’s requirements
- The candidates should be able to plan, design, and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems
- The candidates should be able to assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade, and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments, and applications software
- The candidates should be able to lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
