Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering and Mathematics
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience as a TM1 Developer or in a similar role, preferably with a finance-related background
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines and SQL
- The candidates should possess at least four (4) years of relevant experience with IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics, including system configuration, model building, and the development of reports or dashboards
- The candidates should have corporate finance experience demonstrating knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and related processes
- The candidates should have experience in the design and optimization of data-processing systems using AWS services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Athena, SNS, CloudWatch, Redshift, and Aurora/RDS
- The candidates should have experience with Java and scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Unix shell scripts, VBA, and MS Excel
- The candidates should have working experience with TM1Py and REST API, be experienced in designing and delivering formal training curriculum and programs and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver on data architecture projects and implement next-generation financial solutions using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), manage AWS resources, including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, and Lambda
- The candidates should be able to build and deliver high-quality data architecture and pipelines to support customer reporting requirements
- The candidates should be able to interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources
- The candidates should be able to continually improve reporting and analysis processes by automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with business users, development teams, and operations engineering teams to address business requirements while ensuring high system availability and reliability
- The candidates should be able to dive deep to resolve issues at their root, identify failure patterns, and suggest effective fixes
- The candidates should be able to prepare runbooks, methods of procedures, tutorials, and training videos that share best practices with the team, build monitoring dashboards and create critical system alarms
- The candidates should be able to build and enhance software to extend system, application, or tool functionality and improve business processes within the established system architecture
- The candidates should be able to diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analyses, and respond to enhancement suggestions, identify and implement process improvement opportunities to drive innovation and provide rotational on-call support
