Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Carpet cleaning machine, Waxing machine, Steam cleaners, Power lawn mowers, Snow blower
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, capable of handling heavy loads, and prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should also be able to bend, crouch, kneel as needed, and have the ability to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess excellent oral communication skills, exhibit flexibility, show initiative, be highly organized, and demonstrate reliability
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform various maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and vacuuming floors, emptying trash cans, washing windows, walls, and ceilings, making adjustments, minor repairs, and contacting contractors for major repairs
- The candidates should be able to advertise vacancies, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, move heavy furniture and equipment, perform other routine maintenance jobs like painting, drywall repair, and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms, work with minimal supervision, and clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas as needed
