Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex, motel, urban area, rural area, office building, various locations, industrial facility or establishment, recreational facility/institution, health care institution, facility or clinic, hotel, motel, resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Cleaning
Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, carpet cleaning machine, polishing machines, steam cleaners
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their role and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks as needed
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their duties consistently, maintain organization in their work methods and responsibilities, and exhibit reliability in completing tasks and meeting commitments
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- The candidates should be able to empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, work with minimal supervision, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
