Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Applied meteorology or biometeorology: Agriculture, fishing and/or forestry
Area of specialization: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
Credentials: Plumber Trade Certification, Driver’s License (Class 3 or D), Plumber Red Seal Certificate
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, manage a large workload, and work overtime when required
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, in confined spaces, and in wet or damp conditions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work with accuracy and demonstrate client focus
- The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be able to work well as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings
- The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings for pipes and fittings
- The candidates should be able to join pipes using various methods, test for leaks, determine piping system requirements, and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes, operate heavy equipment, and ensure compliance with government regulations for electrical and plumbing installations
- The candidates should also be able to install, test, maintain, and repair water well pumps, piping systems, and equipment
