Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:30
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Commercial and residential
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Tools and steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification, Backflow prevention Certification, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Confined Space Entry Training, Driver’s License (Class 3 or D), Natural Gas License, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, comfortable with activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to handle heavy loads as required
- The candidates should possess good hand-eye coordination and be able to work effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate a focus on serving clients’ needs
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be able to collaborate effectively as a team player

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to install, repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, cut openings, and join pipes using various techniques
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks, determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
