Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Dog training school, Pet grooming shop, Kennel
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Animal specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work at confined spaces, in outdoors, and hot area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare food and feed animals, bathing/shampooing
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated, feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to supervise helpers, care for pets
- The candidates should be able to do ear cleaning, assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to monitor and document animal behaviour
- The candidates should be able to maintain clean and safe work environment, provide customer service
