Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables neatly and efficiently, and organize and place dishes in the storage area after washing to maintain an orderly kitchen
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain hygiene standards, operate dishwashers effectively, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food orders accurately and securely for customers, clean and sanitize the kitchen and its equipment, handle and store cleaning products safely, and receive, unpack, and store supplies efficiently
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, sharpen kitchen knives, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to keep the kitchen area clean and tidy, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed for food preparation, following standard procedures
