YLW Tacos based in Kelowna, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Kitchen helper. YLW Tacos is a vibrant taco truck bringing the flavors of Mexico to the streets. Specializing in authentic Mexican street tacos, YLW Tacos offers a mouthwatering menu featuring a variety of fillings, from traditional carne asada to innovative vegetarian options. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.75 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
