Salary: $16.55 to $19.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 50 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Burgessville, ON
Work setting: Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be experienced in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots
  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, including walking
  • The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks and situations
  • The candidates should exercise good judgment in decision-making
  • The candidates should be team players, fostering collaboration with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to monitor animal health
  • The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
