Position: Labourer – food and beverage processing

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning, 06:00 to 15:00
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin and Cantonese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in hot and wet/damp conditions, be prepared for repetitive tasks, and pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required for the job, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs) when necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently fulfilling their duties and responsibilities, and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others towards shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety and handling skills and clean machines and immediate work areas
