Position: Labourer – food and beverage processing
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning, 06:00 to 15:30
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin, Cantonese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of working in hot condition
- The candidates should be adept at performing repetitive tasks with attention to detail and comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job requirements
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including weight handling
- The candidates should be able to handle loads of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in consistently fulfilling their responsibilities
- The candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork skills, contributing positively to group dynamics and achieving shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should possess food safety and handling skills.
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines and clean machines and immediate work areas
