Work Site Environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming, Outdoors, Viticulture, Wet/damp, Dusty, Hot
Work Setting: Rural area, Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, training will be provided
Type of Crops: Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Strawberries
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
- The candidate should have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform tasks such as Cleaning crop, Clipping, Deleafing, Fruit trees training, Hand harvesting vegetables,Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, Shoot positioning, Suckering, Tying, Weeding and Harvest crops
