Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 42 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 420 Canarctic Dr, North York, ON M3J 2V3, Canada
Shifts: 07:00 to 16:00
Work setting: Furniture manufacturing company, furniture and fixtures manufacturing company
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in noisy environments
- The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency, possess keen attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in their work, and exhibit strong hand-eye coordination for precise manipulation of objects and tools
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods during work shifts and able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their job responsibilities

- The candidates should prioritize punctuality, consistently arriving on time for work and meetings, and demonstrate dependability by reliably fulfilling their duties and commitments
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients, and exhibit excellent oral communication skills, conveying information clearly and effectively
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and tasks, show initiative in taking on tasks and finding solutions independently, and display reliability by completing tasks accurately and on time
- The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues toward shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment efficiently, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products accurately, and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers effectively
- The candidates should be able to perform other laboring and elemental activities as required and clean machines and immediate work areas thoroughly
