No of Vacancies: 4
Salary: $16.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: East St. Paul, MB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, and Public transportation is not available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw, Roto-tiller, Small engine equipment, Sod cutter, Tractor, Tractor mower, and Weed trimmer/edger
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors, in wet/damp conditions, and in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, hot environments, and in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure, excel in meeting tight deadlines, and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, be prepared for physically demanding work, and possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should have attention to detail, exhibit hand-eye coordination, and be able to adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be comfortable with walking and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and exhibit dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and excel as team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions effectively and weed, prune, and trim trees and plants with care
- The candidates should be able to cut grass neatly, rake and collect refuse efficiently, and remove litter and garbage from the landscape area promptly
- The candidates should be able to cart and spread topsoil and other materials accurately, lay sod or seed properly, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens regularly, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment proficiently
