Salary: $19.25 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer and plastic products manufacturing company
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy conditions, perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, have attention to detail, and possess hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, able to stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required, have experience with weight handling, and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist machine operators or assemblers, clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and transport material and tools to and from work areas
- The candidates should be able to prepare raw materials for the mixing process and monitor machines to watch for jammed materials or defective products
