Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Lumber
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to stand for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines proficiently to ensure smooth production processes
- The candidates should be able to sort, pile, and transport wood products efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards
- The candidates should be able to remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing, contributing to waste reduction and resource optimization
- The candidates should be able to assist other processing workers collaboratively to maintain workflow consistency and meet production targets
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas meticulously to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent hazards
